On November 18, Milton Middle School will hold their Fall Renaissance Academic Pep Rally to celebrate
the academic achievements of our students. Middle school students in grades 6-8 who will have
maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher in their core subjects of Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social
Students for the first two six-weeks will be invited to attend.
We hold two pep rallies a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Two thirds of our middle school
students are usually invited to attend. Each student receives a t-shirt and a medal or certificate, and
about one-third of those students are also able to walk away with some awesome prizes like iPods, Nike
attire, and gift certificates.
We will be selling pajama pants in maroon and gold with Milton printed vertically on the left leg as a
fundraiser to raise money to help pay for decorations, t-shirts, prizes, etc.
If you are interested in purchasing some pajama pants, please fill out the order form and have your child
return it to their homeroom teacher with your payment. Or, if you would like to contribute donations or
gift items such as gift cards, c.d.'s, electronics, restaurant gift certificates, t-shirts, sports items,
etc., it may be mailed or brought to school to the attention of Debra Breaux or Renaissance Committee.
