In January, the fifth graders went back over four million years. They had
an experience of a life time during “Walk with Dinosaurs!” This educational
program gave students a chance to see how dinosaurs possibly looked and
acted. As they walked and roared around the center of the Cajun Dome, all
the fifth graders “oohed” and “ahhed” at how life-like these creatures
looked. Along with this show, students learned something new about each and
every dinosaur. As the dinos fought for survival, the kids became more and
more fascinated at these animatronical creatures. One teacher claimed, "I
had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't real!" Thanks to the fifth grade
teachers for setting this adventure up for our students.
