Hello Mrs. Juneau,
We have welcomed Flat Michael into our home in Batavia, IL and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write
about his adventure. We have 5 children that keep us very busy, and Flat Michael has had a wonderful
time playing with them. Batavia, IL is a town of about 25,000 people about 40 miles west of Chicago along
the beautiful Fox River. We are known as the "City of Energy." You can learn more about Batavia at the

I will send him back this week along with lots of good pictures from his adventures. I know that your class
is studying the United States, but Flat Michael joined our family on a special vacation outside the U.S. as
